The MXm and MXq dash loggers are comprehensive data acquisition systems that provide essential information for racers.
They sample and display critical parameters such as speed, lap times, RPM, and gear, while also featuring multiple configurable math channels. MXm and MXq are the perfect devices for both Pro and Amateaur racers.
MXm VS MXq
Both devices share a core set of features, with the only differences being the number of fully configurable analog inputs and the specific count of digital inputs and outputs.

A wide range of data sources
AiM dashes and dash loggers are designed to acquire and display data coming from your ECU, as well as from the GPS09c included in the kit, analog/digital inputs and predefined math channels. Performance and data acquired can also be increased adding up to eight expansion modules.
CAN, K-LINE and RS232 ECU Connection
MX LCD Series manages CAN, K-Line and RS232 ECU communication lines and its huge database includes more than 2,000 ECU protocols.
Tracks
With more than 4,000 tracks in database, the integrated GPS recognizes the track you are racing on and automatically starts sampling lap times.
Thanks to Track Manager function of RaceStudio 3, tracks can be created, deleted and modified, transmitted and received to/from MX Series.
LAP TIME MANAGER
MX systems calculate lap times and record data, track name and time of the test making your life easier when you analyze your data. In case the track is not in the database, no problem: MX dash loggers automatically understand the characteristics of the track and give the lap time anyway.
Position and speed on track
MX LCD dash loggers offer exceptional accuracy, achieving sub-0.5 meter precision by leveraging four satellite constellations. They also provide high-frequency data sampling at 25 Hz.
Inertial Platform
3D accelerations and gyro - the inertial platform at 100 Hz - gives the possibility to calculate roll, pitch and yaw.
Integrated Shift Lights and Alarms
MX LCD Series feature a 5 LED shift light array. Choose from a host of advanced multicolored RGB shift light patterns that can be customized to your liking, and for each unique gear when required. The devices also feature two fully configurable RGB alarm LEDs: you can choose the conditions which turn them on/off, their color, select a solid alarm - or flashing one - and the flashing frequency.
Two Power Outputs for MXm
MXm features two power outputs that can drain up to 15 A each. The two power outputs can be configured in order to be turned on/off depending on the value of the analog or digital inputs. They permit to automatically run external systems, i.e. to switch on/off additional lights, to activate/de-activate a cooling fan or circulation pumps, etc. when a certain event happens.
Sharp Liquid Cristal
MX LCD Series feature a high contrast LCD display, with an outstanding black to white ratio. The wide 268x128 pixels graphical LCD offers great flexibility in information display and alerts. An ambient light sensor keeps the backlight at optimum brightness levels.

Data Recall on Screen
At the end of each session, you can recall the summary of your best laps, with max/min RPM, speed and temperatures.
Choose your own Data Layout
You can organize this huge quantity of data defining your custom pages, choosing among a wide library of page styles, defining which data to be shown, their end of scale and measure unit.
WI-FI connectivity
Makes it even more convenient to configure, calibrate, and download your data wirelessly, using a secure 802.11 Wi-Fi connection: no need to move your PC close to the vehicle anymore, you can do it from your van up to 50 meters away.
Expansion
MXm and MXq can be connected to a lot of AiM expansions like GPS09c, ACC3 and LCU1S to get the best from your engine and - with AiM SmartyCam 3 family - to see your track performances on your PC with all the values you need in overlay.
